Alexandra Vale Cruz

Alexandra is a trained geologist who has worked at the Parque Biológico de Gaia for 14 years. She also works in the Environmental Education sector at the Gaia City Council Department of Environment and Urban Parks.

She works with audiences of all ages, including school children and families.

Ana Babo de Almeida

Ana is a physiotherapist and coordinator of the Resource Center for Inclusion (Centro de Recursos para a Inclusão) and a physiotherapist at the Activity and Training Center for Inclusion (Centro de Atividades e Capacitação para a Inclusão) at Cerciespinho. She works with children, young people and adults with disabilities.

Andreia Machado

Andreia is a trained graphic designer who collaborates with the Environmental Education Service of the Serralves Foundation as an educator, creating programs that reconnect people with the natural spaces around them and with Nature itself. She works with the general public, especially schools and families.

Anémone Leton

Anémone has a background in tourism and works at ASTA - Associação Sócio Terapêutica de Almeida, where she coordinates "Contigo, Há Descoberta…", a social, inclusive, and nature tourism initiative. She runs workshops on recycled paper, the beeswax candle cycle and the wool cycle, and various therapies such as a body and artistic expression class. She works with adults with special needs (intellectual disabilities and multi-disabilities), walking side by side, helping them find their life projects with dignity.

Carlota Carqueja

Carlota is an agricultural engineer with further training in agriculture, environment, and markets. Since 2012, she has been collaborating with the Serralves Foundation educational service in implementing its educational programmes, where she is responsible for dynamising the project "Discover the Vegetable Garden." She works mainly with preschool and primary school children.

Clara Bento

Clara is a Natural Sciences teacher at the São Teotónio Elementary School in Odemira, where she is also part of the Ciência Viva project and is responsible for the Environmental Club. She works mainly with 9th-grade students.

Cláudia Pinho

Cláudia is a trained environmental engineer who volunteers at the Corpo Nacional de Escutas, a Portuguese scout organisation, where she is responsible for the environment and sustainability pedagogical team of the Porto Region, which includes 122 groups and 9,000 scouts. She promotes and develops activities and tools focused on sustainability for children and young people aged 6 to 22, and their adult leaders.

Eleni Papadopoulou

Eleni is a photojournalist for the "Politis" daily newspaper in Nicosia, Cyprus, where she organises creative participatory projects in collaboration with other NGOS and collectives involving all social groups.

Giorgos Antoniou

Giorgos works in Production, Operations and Research at Alternative Brains Rule (ABR) - a creative NGO that has been shaping the cultural scene in Cyprus for over a decade. He works mainly with creative professionals, artists, young adults, children and families.

Inês Van Velze

Inês is a social worker at the Centro de Apoio à Vida do Lar de Santa Teresa in Viana do Castelo. 

She works with young pregnant women and mothers and their newborn children who are in a situation of socio-economic vulnerability and psychosocial risk, providing support that allows them to design their life project and acquire personal, social, parental, academic and professional skills, with a view to their autonomy and integration into the community as mothers, women and full citizens.

Lavinia Ghimbasan

Lavinia is the co-founder and a designer at NALBA, dedicated to design and research within four pillars: wool, natural dyes, weaving and cultural sustainability. She works with a diverse audience, including children, teenagers, adults, and individuals with disabilities.

Mafalda Strecht

Mafalda is the director and a re-educator at AIJICM -Carolina Michaëlis Nursery and Kindergarten Association. She works with school children between the ages of 6 months and 6 years.

Maria Pedro

Maria is the president of the Mater Minho - Associação de Saberes, where she works directly in "Re-laça", a project aimed at improving the quality of local sheep's wool by processing it and dyeing it naturally in order to make hand-woven items. She works with all publics, focusing on foreign women living in the Minho area.

Maria Pereira

Maria comes from a fine arts background and is currently responsible for setting up and running the creative arts and crafts workshop at the Jardim Escola Waldorf Amoreira. She works directly with the teaching team and with children aged 3 to 10.

Rita Reis

Rita is a kindergarten teacher at AIJICM -Carolina Michaëlis Nursery and Kindergarten Association. She works with children between 3 and 6 years.

Rita Sales

Rita is an artist, educator, cultural mediator and storyteller who dedicates herself to developing projects that involve art, education and community. She's a co-founder of boa CRIAÇÃO, a non-profit cultural cooperative created in 2022 in the village of Corte da Velha, Mértola, in the sequence of the project Word of Mouth - Stories Nurturing Communities, a project to reactivate storytelling in the community. Within the scope of boa CRIAÇÃO, she develops many activities involving the whole community.

Sílvia Félix

Sílvia works as a collaborator at Cantinho das Mãos, a project of the Vox Populi Foundation. She works with children and teenagers between the ages of 7 and 14.
